support@epc-checker.ukEPC Checker operates as an independent site. Don't confuse this site with the government's EPC register, the Valuation Office Agency, the Scottish Assessors or a grant scheme. Changing a certificate or a council tax band is beyond what it can do. The official services, linked on every page, are the right route for those.
Who's able to change what
- If an EPC has a mistake, ask the assessor who wrote it. After that, go to their accreditation scheme. You'll see the scheme's name on the certificate.
- Is a certificate missing or hidden? Look in the GOV.UK register, which covers England, Wales and Northern Ireland, or check the Scottish EPC Register if the home is in Scotland.
- Council tax bands that look incorrect: the Valuation Office Agency covers England and Wales, and in Scotland you reach your local assessor on the Scottish Assessors site.
- Want to follow up a quote you asked for? Answer whichever assessor or installer sent the email. If no email came, write to us.
